- San Jiao 4 is located distal to the transverse crease of the dorsal surface of the wrist, at the level of the wrist joint, in the hollow proximal to the 3rd and 4th metacarpal bones, between the tendons of the extensor communis and extensor digitorium minimi.

- To needle San Jiao 4, use an oblique or perpendicular insertion to a maximum depth of 0.5 cun.

The Yuan Source points are where Yuan Qi for that organ pools and can be used to balance the organ and the channel.
