- Bladder 12 is located 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 2nd thoracic vertebra (T2).
Bladder 12 Needling
- To needle Bladder 12, use an oblique (45 degrees) insertion towards the midline, to a depth of 0.5 cun.
Bladder 12 TCM Theory
The main TCM actions of Bladder 12 are:
- To expel External Wind in cases of invasion by Wind-Cold or Wind-Heat and it is therefore used to relieve Exterior symptoms.
